This mobile-learning enhanced course is designed to develop proficiencies in algebra necessary for success in future Math or Statistics courses. It covers the following topics: arithmetic and algebraic expressions; linear equations and inequalities in one variable; coordinate geometry; linear equations in two variables; quadratic equations (formulas and factoring); rational expressions; definition of functions and graphs of basic functions; and applications. Prerequisite: ENGU 1301

This mobile-learning enhanced course is designed to develop the proficiencies in college algebra necessary for success in future Statistics or Calculus courses. It covers the following topics: complex numbers; factorials; properties of functions, such as graphs and transformations; inverse functions; composition of functions; polynomial functions (definition, zeros, factors and graphs); exponential and logarithmic functions and equations; basics of arithmetic and geometric sequences and series; basics of matrices and determinants; and applications.
