NEOR530 - Neuroscience and Special Sense (14 credit hours)
The BRAIN, the most complex of organs, is the medium of all human experience in somatic and psychological domains and the organ that governs the body and the mind. The study and investigation of its structure and function under normal and morbid conditions is, therefore, a core subject in pre-clinical and clinical medicine. In the PBL format, the Neuroscience Module has been reviewed and reorganized with the prime aim of integrating basic, paraclinical and clinical neuroscience, offering a blend of concepts and practice. We hope that you will enjoy this Module and enrich as many neurons as we have lost in its conception and delivery.

UROG520 - Urogenital and Reproduction (8 credit hours)
The aim of the module is to introduce students to the basic preclinical, paraclinical and clinical presentations of the urinary, genital and reproductive systems. This module will also introduce common clinical conditions. Students are expected to integrate normal and pathophysiological processes with appropriate management principles (diagnostic and therapeutic). The Urogenital and reproductive systems are covered in this module. These two systems are closely related in terms of structure and function. While the urinary system is involved in the regulation of body fluids and electrolytes, the reproductive system is crucial to the maintenance and survival of the human species.
